David Cross has a new album out in January. This one is rather unusual in that it is a collaboration with ex-Yes guitarist and co-founder, Pete Banks. The guitar and violin parts were recorded on the 10th August 2010 in an afternoon of improvisation between the pair. Following Banks’ death in 2013 the project lay dormant until David and Tony Lowe began working on the material. The resultant album was produced by Tony Lowe and David Cross and the guest appearances were recorded during 2018 and 2019 by Pat Mastelotto, Tony Kaye, Billy Sherwood, Randy Raine-Reusch, Andy Jackson, Oliver Wakeman, Jay Schellen, Jeremy Stacey and Geoff Downes.
The new studio album by David Cross & Peter Banks, Crossover, is due out on the 17th January 2020 (24th January in America).
