Hot off the mixing desk from King Crimson’s friends and family show, this powerful reading of Cirkus benefits from a generous amount of keyboards provided here by both Jeremy Stacey and Bill Rieflin. Against those swirling strings and bulldozing brass Jakko can be heard darting about the fretboard and Mel Collins wails and growls like a barely tamed animal. All the fun of the circus indeed.

New, whenever it was written
It was a real joy to hear the surprise appearances of several "new old songs" at this Friends & Family show opening this leg of the tour. The Lizard tracks, Fracture, Fallen Angel, Exiles(!!!), Islands - such a pleasure to hear these songs in-person with this configuration. And almost three hours of music! Quite a warm-up, indeed. "Me gusta!"

Love for Fracture
Fracture is making very rare appearances on this tour. I would love to hear one of the 8-Headed Krim's performances of this masterpiece!

I'm glad to listen to my favorite band in this 2017 version. See you in Mexico City!

Thank You So Very Much - Makes Me Feel Much Better
I planned on attending, but, alas, could not, due to family medical issues. Thank you for helping make up for the sadness I felt when I read the great things everyone said about this night and the heavy heart I currently have. I appreciate you sharing a part of this with me so I don't feel as alone as I did that night. I appreciate being a part of the KC family.
