Ah, yes! It's awesome to have an instrumental version of the beautiful "Eyes wide open". And it's great to appreciate Trey's bass lines with more clarity. Recommended.

On the surface of it, Eyes Wide Open may seem like a simple enough song. However, as this pre-vocal early mix shows, appearances can be deceptive. Along with the shifting bars, the interlocking guitars and the sinuous bass oozing between lines, by the time Ade’s vocal melody glides over it all, this is a tune that is actually anything but straightforward. This early performance also features some notably different approaches in the ‘traps and buttons’ department to those which appear in the final version.
