Left Room Depressing at 10.45 with the sound of construction work as background ambience, past the Team checking out of Hotel Depressing; the Bus left Industrial Zone Depressing just after 11.00.
All in all, a depressing hotel. But not only could it have been much, much worse - all my touring prior to 1981 consisted of hotels of a lower standard than this. The reason: I was managed by EG. After 1981 KC travelled with two American musicians who were not managed by EG. They and/or their management were not prepared to accept the Standard Operating Procedure mandated by The EG Way. As younger players, we accepted That Way as the way of doing things.
