I Advance Masked – Day Six…

18.53      Continuing to process and absorb Mr. Bill’s flying away. Many, many incoming e-mails, messages and postings. From a good pal, originally from Seattle, to both Toyah and me...

i know you each had a special relationship with bill, because he told me so. but one of the remarkable things about him is that everyone who knew him felt that they had a special relationship with him. and we all did - his attention to each of us was so precise and complete, and his responsiveness so present and honest.

Bill and Frankie’s presence continues in our home.

Fridge: The Humans, here in 2012…

WillyFred, Prince Of Rabbits, was named after William Frederick Rieflin. At the time, we didn't know that Mr. Bill was already WFR II. So, William Frederick II the rabbit should, properly, have been named WillyFred III.

Kitchen Tablescape…

Bill, Toyah & Robert Bobbleheads courtesy of Hell Boy Tom. Mr. Cyclops a kind gift from KC fans. The Reinart champagne a gift from Bill on a past visit that we decided would only be opened with Bill here. The yellow horse a gift to us from Francesca Sundsten…

At the prompting of Hellboy Tom, I have been checking archive photos of KC in Japan, December 2018. Tom will owe me for this.

Mr. Bill, Toyah & Robert go to lunch: December 16th. 2018, Tokyo...

Orchard Hall, Tokyo: December 17th. 2018…

Tokyo train platform, Toyko > Nagoya; December 20th. 2018…

Last KC performance of 2018: Nagoya Century Hall, Japan; December 21st. 2018.
Bill Rieflin's completion performance with King Crimson...

20.18 On the street at 20.00, to celebrate and express gratitude for our Health Providers and Carers. Clapping with a sufficiency of Bredonburghers to be adjudged a triumph IMO.

Toyah was very moved to be able to connect with our neighbours across the Market Square and way down the street; and to be outside the house with them. As we were clapping, an ambulance drove by; window rolled down and thumbs up from a Health Provider in the front line.
