Morning Sitting in the Study.
Morning reading and writing…

Morning listening: Thomas Ades, Charles Ives and Penderecki.

Reflecting: musicians and health. The emotional and psychological damage, in addition to the physical toll of the life.

Prof. Susan Hallam: Musicians may also experience goal conflicts. Well.

12.05 I Advance Masked – Day Eighty Two…

19.40 Lunch and to practising.

A treat: socially-distanced tea and cakes at the back door with David and Indeg Singleton…

A knock at the front door this morning c. 10.00 and a personal delivery of tasty things from SIP of Persora https://www.sippershore.co.uk/. Toyah scores these cakes very highly. I am no longer a cake-eater and, free of the necessity of cake indulgence, on occasion feel free to pump one down. Today, more than one, the pistachio meringue my fave. David and Indeg carried away two cakes for the younger Singletons currently bubble-isolating at Chez Singleton.

David and Indeg brought two amps that have eluded delivery for some four months. The amps, recommended to me by Jakko, were delivered to an address in London. The firm, when repeatedly queried, repeatedly replied – they’ve been delivered! Our position:  yes, some one hundred and twenty miles from the address you were given. Jakko contacted the managing director of the firm personally, and now – yer tiz!

Some computing.

And a little more practising. I am wayyyyyyyyy behind what is needed.
