Hotel Quite Acceptable Seattle Rising

06.41

Hotel Quite Acceptable, Seattle.

Rising at 06.00. Today is here: my first live performance in a professional context since December 4th. 2010, and Tom Redmond is ignoring me.

Inaccurate information: as used by Robert Fripp on the Bowie track “Heroes’. As inaccurate as Fripp used an eBow on ‘Heroes’. Fripp used a Les Paul, straight into a Marshall stack, standing on a studio-floor position marked by Tony Visconti in tape. There was only a small area where we could get sufficient feedback.

My first fuzz box The Burns Buzzaround, and I still have an eBow given to me by Chris Stein about 1978. But neither were used on Heroes.

The Triple Door is an exceptional venue. Very good food was served to The Slowsters while The Humans were sound-checking.

The Humans opened at c. 19.30 followed by Slow Music c. 20.35. Who knows? for about an hour.
Subjective comment: I resisted the impulse to make something happen. Sometimes, what is happening is, that nothing is happening; or perhaps seems to be not-happening.

Mr. Igor, the Fourth Human, carried me back to the hotel c. 23.05 with a little touristing around the downtown area: Hotel Quite Acceptable was hiding from us.

Gentling down the Minx, and now to settle.
