The Plum Festival was formally opened, albeit on the third day of fun & festivalising, by an actor from The Archers (a famous long-running English radio serial)…

Bredonborough & the nearby Vale of Evesham is a traditional fruit-growing area of England. Many of the local orchards have been long since grubbed out, the bulk of fruit coming to Bredonborough from around the world.

The Chilean people want a concert. They demand KC and that with the legitimate incarnation. And, they won’t budge.  When will you please play for them?

This question has been addressed in this Diary before. Questions for this poster, please:

1.    What is the legitimate incarnation?
2.    What repertoire would they play?
3.    Why would the members want to do this? For example: what other projects & undertakings would / should they give up to perform in Chile?
4.    What is involved in bringing together the members of that incarnation?
This includes syncing calendars, rehearsal times & places, equipment shipping, technical support & personnel including wages, shipping all of the above to Chile with flights.
5.    Which promoter & venues?

Please note, none of this factors in payment for the Legitimate Incarnates.

Another recent poster: i think it reasonable to assume there is virtually no difference between a forum posting and an ’e-mail’.

Personal e-mail is directed towards a specific address, mostly in anticipation of a reply. A public enquiry has a different level of expectation & assumption. However, If a particular question rings a bell, for whatever reasons, and I have no time, no answer means – I have no time. For example, last Friday I left DGM with an inbox of 143. Today, it is 279.

And this afternoon there has been another call on my time & attention, other than responding to the enquiries of DGM visitors: assisting in the production of Minx Damson vodka I…

Arriving c. 21.40. Even at this late hour, our landlord Butcher Fry appeared for the usual conversation & putting the world to rights, discussing miscreants in the community & how the late Les Collins would have dealt with them.

A call from Sister Patricia re: our tomorrow plans to visit Uncle Bill. An e-flurry & online eruption.

To settle.
