Before the current vendors moved in, Mr. Romain acquired several items from the outgoing family, some of which are now in our home. One of these is the bombe on the landing, beneath which WillyFred often slumbers. This former rectory was the family home of
Edith Olivier, some Mayor of Wilton, who authored several books in the Cellar library. This was the rectory to the Italianate church where RF & The League Of Crafty Guitarists performed for three nights in 1987. There were more players than audients, and on one night Elizabeth Bennett came to support us.
