Continuing problem with the right arm and shoulder, but managing to find a position to place it during the night. So sleep, but pain in movement and on rising.

The Minx called just after nine - yippee! – and now to morning reading…

recording with Bowie in 1977

Would Mr. Fripp like to comment on rumours that he was not keen on working with Edgar Froese in 1977 during the recording sessions for a Bowie album?

What rumours are those, please?

morning chaff

The Purposeful Universe by Carl Calleman appeared as morning reading on RF’s diary for 16 February. Sigh. While there are many worthwhile things to say about the mathematics and geometry of nature, don’t look for them from Calleman… There’s more to say about the book--it’s not just wrong about math in nature--but I’ll leave it at that.

Not the best recommendation by Amazon, then? For a reliable introduction to mathematical thinking, please see today’s morning reading, above.

To practising, and then off to London.

24.12    The MinxLoft, Chiswick.

Leaving  c. 21.08. Arriving c. 22.20.

T arrived from Folkestone shortly afterwards. Loading in and to gentling.
