Bredonborough.

A telephone call and everything changes. This morning, at the beginning of the working day, a knock on the front door & a piece of significant information delivered by mouth from a neighbour across the square: an important new arising for me to act upon.

Presently, a camera team of two has arrived to interview me for a tv programme on dyslexia that Toyah is presenting.

A horrible journey here, taking twice as long as usual. An accident on the M5 closed the motorway between junctions 8 & 9. Full-on traffic, including long-haul lorries & trucks, was sent on a long diversion along single-track country roads. The M5 re-opened well before the diverted traffic, stuck in the country, was able to unsnarl itself & re-join the motorway.

Currently. I am refreshing my spirits listening to the new Fripp & Eno album, the first version of which was waiting on my DGM desk.

David has come in for the Late Shift. This evening, we are listening to F&E III.

23.05 David has left & I am computing.
