Bredonborough A grey day Continuing

10.02

Bredonborough.

A grey day.

Continuing reading on the Reformation, today addressing some of the doctrinal points in disupte. Only now, at sixty, am I old enough to have a sense of what is involved; and this without claiming understanding.

11.43  A recent review in Uncut magazine of Jakko Jakszyk’s Bruised Romantic Glee Club by the former Melody Maker writer Adam Sweeting has this gem: all in all though, by no means as preposterous as it might have been. The review itself is not as preposterous as it might have been, but its achievement is great already. An alternative review by John Kelman

On the drive down, the newly re-vibrated car, with MOT & mucho work on the engine, the car radio-CD player is stuck on SAFE. This is a bright idea to prevent theft of the radio: whenever the power is disconnected, a safety code is needed to make it work again. I don’t know the code.

Churchscapes from last summer, in England & Estonia, are playing. Instantly, my state has changed. The governing injunction behind this music is follow your passion, this in direct contradiction to professional instincts & rational behaviour. It also comes with a tab.

23.59  The inbox is down to 184. A pitiful e-flurry.
