A day off. That is, a day off. A customary lie of the touring life is to describe a travelling day as a day off. A travelling day is not a day off: it is a travelling day. A day off is a day off: there is no travelling, there is no performance, there are no interviews. Today, this is a day off – apart from e-mail this morning, which I’m not counting.
This afternoon: to a nearby mall with Biff & John to acquire a slide projector; then to the house of fillims & Transporter 2. This is exactly the kind of movie to watch with my Sister. Then, back to Northampton & practising.
