DGM SoundWorld I The afternoon

16.51

DGM SoundWorld I.

The afternoon shift is compiling Volume II: Live 1969 in a day full of stuff. Stuff.

Part of an online web-translation, German to English, from a reference sent by a Crafty pal re: Herdim guitar picks --

The Perfect trifishes! Robert Fripp released a true boom. Nowadays particularly (outgoing from Seattle) the Gral under all Picks. Probably also actually the perfect form, the equilateral triangle. For electrical ones and acoustic ones. Fast and brightly. Nearly into oblivion turn out, this small, straight triangle form with the masses 30.0 mm x 30.0 mm. This Picks has the strength medium, thus approximately 0.7 mm. By the aging-determined hardness they react however rather as medium heavy...

-- and on sale at an astonishing price. Fast & brightly it is, then.

Now, a shrieking wince from the lyricist of Drop In upon hearing his bedroom lyrics sung in public. He was wise to follow a different calling to that of lyricist. Drop In is dropped.

18.07 David has gone home & will return. Backtracking --

Wednesday 19th. May: T left for London in the morning. After a morning of stuff & an evening practicing, I left Bredonborough for DGM HQ around 23.00, arriving at 01.15 & hitting Slumberland Above The Block at 02.00. The back door to the store opened early at 08.10.

20.47 David is back for The Late Shift, continuing to assemble Volume II.

22.46 1969 is outlined, 1971-72 is up for tomorrow's Morning Shift. David has gone home & Slumberland beckons.
