A rainy day along the valley…

09.34    Shortly off to north of Wimborne.

21.55    Bredonborough.

Leaving DGM HQ c. 09.45 in the pouring rain for Gravel Hill, Merley and collecting Sistery Patricia. We visited Margaret Jones, widow of our Father’s partner Tony Jones, at Pig Oak Farm, Holt. Pig Oak is part of 50 years of family history.

Driving via Cranborne and the Red Lion House…

… en route to Mr. Romain of Romain’s Emporium in Wilton. A brief visit and onto Marlborough c. 14.10 for lunch at the Polly Tea Rooms…

Then Ross-on-Wye, dropping the Sistery off at her modest accommodations.

To the Piddle c. 17.05 to visit Barbara. Toyah has been with her this afternoon. Leaving c. 18.15 for home, where WillyFred has been enduring adoration. Back out to the Piddle c. 21.15 to visit Barbara, now back.

A long day.
