… to find that I have failed; again. From Theo Travis…

I noticed that in your diary you referred to T+ F 3 as 'mainly drawn from the T&F Gaucho Productions live performances in Italy (2010).' and thought I had better update you of the details and sources of our fine efforts as this is not actually where the recordings are from.

I consider the album a studio creation, as in fact about 70% of the flutes and saxes were recorded in the studio. About 20% of the guitar is from the studio. None of the recordings on the album are in fact from Italy (only in fact the shelved 'Starlight' which was mainly from Rome with some added studio flutes)

In case it is of interest, the sources are as follows-

1.  Soaring and Gliding - A live recording from Newlyn, Cornwall (2010)
2.  Dark Clouds - All Saints, Cheltenham (with some subtle studio flute overdubs at the end)
3. When the Rains Fall - All Saints, Cheltenham (with some subtle studio flute overdubs at the end)
4. Hear our Voices - All studio (2011)
5. 1979 - Flutes all studio. Frippertronics from NYC 1979.
6. Open Land - Sax, flutes, clarinets all studio (2011). Guitar from Alicante, Spain (2010)
7. Return to Saturn. All studio. Clarinets 2011. Guitar and some sax and flute are actually from DGM Broadchalke from the beginning of our first rehearsal back in May 2009.  I always remembered and wanted to use that guitar sound as it has a special quality to it that I do not think we have revisited.
8. Rotary Symmetrical - A live recording from Alicante (2010)
9. So There - All Studio. Guitar from Scadge, Telford.  Saxes from Barnet studio.
