Bredonborough.
Hellboy Tom & Mrs. Hellboy sent a birthday cake to Toyah & myself, arriving yesterday, to celebrate our birthdays two days apart (16th. & 18th.) and our wedding anniversary (16th.). The cake was ordered from America & the order placed at a cakeshop in nearby Evesham. The shop telephoned on the Thursday (and left an answer on my machine) to say the cake hadn't been paid for & they would like payment on delivery.
This morning I checked with the sister-cakeshop to that in Evesham, here on Bredonborough High Street, who confirmed that no payment had been made for the cake. So, I walked down the High Street at lunchtime to settle up. That's not very fair! commented the older lady in charge, in her white uniform. To be sent a birthday cake and have to pay for it! Clearly, cakeshops of Worcestershire are innocent of the ways of Hell.
The cake looked great, and even tasted good. I'd say it was a bargain.
