Today at the Vicarage : The Vicarage

My body may have returned from Wales, but my mind is still amid the delights of Strata Florida Abbey in Ceredigion (yes yes yes), so forgive me if I do not immediately jump into the awaiting hot bed of scandal. Perhaps after the weekend, when I know Robert and David also plan to make public comments about the recent changes – entirely positive, in their (and my) view.

Over the last few years, Singleton's standard reply to a casual "How are things going?" has been a weary "We're getting there". Perhaps they have now arrived.

A few hours ago, cup of green tea in hand, I made the briefest of forays through Krimson News, with its burgeoning diaries and guestbooks. Its very presence, in such a short space of time, is proof that those were no longer necessary functions of DGM. This community lives on, with the capable support of Dan and Jeff. In a similar way, many other things that have been carried forward under the DGM umbrella may now be able to leave home and thrive on their own. Or not.

In the meantime, I must unpack again, again.
