Spectacular thunderstorm last night. Hot and wet at the same time – a most unBritish combination.
I have found a few pockets of delight in downtown Nashville – such as the restaurant Granite Falls, which is fast becoming my regular haunt for an early lunch of Black Bean soup with Caesar salad.
David S continues to learn about the inner workings of Crimson. It only partly resembles the "benign dictatorship" that most might imagine – it is also close to an efficient "anarchy" – a world where each member addresses his own part, and respects the freedom of the other members to do the same. I understand David has also become acquainted with that important part of KC culture – the Monster Margharita.
There are some undoubted gems in the making, and a challenging jigsaw puzzle to assemble them to their best advantage. The target for this week is to assemble a demo version of both the album and a promotional EP.
