Today at the Vicarage Heathrow

Today at the Vicarage : Heathrow

A round trip leaving Heathrow at 12.45 pm, and returning, without any explanation, at 8pm. What explanation could they give? That the free world is under attack, and that the city you were visiting has been closed down.

A day for being thankful that we are still alive, and for praying for those who have departed in such horrific fashion.

I cannot even imagine how it must feel to be engulfed in such a tragedy. I have heard of one family, who contacted their son, who was working in the tower, and who had miraculously survived - only to learn that their daughter was on the flight that crashed into it.

It is beyond imagining. We are living in a world in need of healing.

I still await news of my many friends in New York
