Tachikawa

One day off and the rhythm of these diaries is completely thrown off. We have just completed our penultimate show in Tokyo, and I have yet to post the pictures from Tachikawa.

Each time we have been to Japan, the promoter has taken us to at least one more unusual venue/area. In 2015, it was Takamatsu - which proved to be the show where much of the DVD was shot. And this year, it was Tachikawa. I understand this used to be a rougher area of Tokyo - but it is now home to a brand new venue, which we had the honour of being the first international act to play. And we were rewarded by a sold out show. Not a single empty seat.

I understand that Tachikawa is also near the Fostex factory, where they made the B16 tape recorder which I had in my first mobile studio...
