A very bright and tinny cassette recording nevertheless captures the LoG in-flight, though not always ascending to lofty heights with a fair share of clams for connoisseurs of such delights to be had. Having stomped the Montreal audience flat for three numbers Fripp takes to the mic to implore the powers that be to let in a small crowd outside unable to access the venue. “Take their money, bring them in and tell them to dance.” a lovely, light as a feather Boy At Piano captures the audiences attention and after the ragged-jagged explosions of Dislocated, the genteel Untitled offers its welcome but bittersweet balm.

The next step is Discipline

The 1980s see a very different King Crimson incarnation originally touring under the name Discipline . The presence of Adrian Belew meant that Robert Fripp was working for the first time with another guitarist. This incarnation of Fripp, Belew, Bruford and Levin becomes the first one to record successive studio albums with the same lineup.
