I remember this performance very well... The Vargan had flown up from the sunshine state earlier that day. After a delicious plate of sushi we made our way to the venue.
I recall really enjoying and being very moved by [what we both remember now as] the third and fourth ’pieces’. I am keen to see if my feelings are the same when I revisit this performance later today.
The SFEC is an amazing venue and I’ve seen several performances there over the years. It is a special place. Great to see that Robert is planning on returning there later this year. I’ll be there... likely with The Vargan.
