      Awesome December 20, 2009
Written by lanzarishi
I do not care what anyone else says - this is my favorite KC line up of all time. The VCS3 makes it all that better and all that more historic! Hands down Cirkus was/is the greatest song ever written by Fripp in my humble estimation with the greatest Sinfield lyric EVER. I have never tired of the song since day one of its release in the States. KC was, and forever will be miles ahead of any rock group in the period of 69 thru 74 no matter which line up was there. Which of course brings me to one conclusion for this - RF and RF only. It was his spirit and soul that always was behind everything. Each musician who has ever been included in the KC group I recognize as an individual but they have all been touched by RFs soul, hence without Fripp where and what would have been? Please forgive me for placing so much responsibility on the Master. Some lights shine brighter than others.

I agree with the earlier comment that it’s astonishing that this is the first public performance of this group... they sound so confident. Love the ITCotCK backing vocals, they lend a kind of harrowing, unsettled quality to the Read more
