The best of the P3 shows so far just slightly ahead of the Dallas gig to my ears. Pat’s precise and clever drumming mixed with programmed loops. Trey’s top notch touch guitar play coupled with Mr Fripp’s soaring almost moaning like guitar notes make this a pleasant surprise indeed (considering Sid’s review). This is an eerie, powerful, pounding performance similar to ProjeKct Four’s first outing in Boulder. Highlights here include the intro into, and Hindu Fizz, (love this version). Sus tayn Z creeping into the spacious hair standing Footnote like a spider walking up your back. Even X chayn jiz is enjoyable here. Seizure is played how it should be only missing Fripps jagged guitar stabs. This version of Deception is my favourite it ranks right up there with P4’s take in Portland and P3’s Austin show. ProjeKction is missing the second half of P3’s Dallas ProjeKction version. All in all this makes for repetitive addictive listening.
