I had the opportunity to meet Fripp in 1980. I learned what power falls in a brief moment... if only I had said "hello" or recognized silence as my friend... it was an immeasurable gift. Perhaps, it meant nothing to him. This music is brief moments qualifying years of life before and since the apparently recorded moment. Fripp’s genius belies itself, and in that tensegrity lies its power, falling far short. Perhaps, I’ve said too much.
