Treat for KC/SS fans March 21, 2009

This recording is a particular treat for Crimson fans who, like myself, are also moved by Fripp’s soundscapes.

The Power To Believe tour, of course, provided a couple of opportunities to incorporate some of those sounds within the body of Crimson’s music on a couple of performed tracks.

It was the inclusion of 26 minutes of introductory soundscapes that really drew my attention to this particular recording and, for me, makes this one uniquely appealing - no slight to the enjoyable performance that follows.

The sound quality throughout is excellent as might be expected from a board recording.

Highly recommended to KC and RF soundscapes fans who want to have their cake and eat it too.
