The music of Fripp is rather known by me. His style is very abstract and does not make music. To my opinion, experimentation is the bridge between silence and music. I think in my humble opinion that Fripp is only sitting on the bridge trying to think what would happen to the future. Am I right?

Well... excuse my English if necessary but Im from a country that does not speak English. Thanks for post my review.

Another stunning, resonant edition of Frippertronics. I hope they keep them coming. There were 2 Toronto shows at the Bathurst St Theatre, including one where Fripp played a bit of Purple Haze by the late great Jimi Hendrix, that I Read more

The VDrum-triggered bass line is right out of the March 25, 1999 performance by ProjeKct Three. I believe it was released as the second track on Masque, and the whole show became a KCCC Read more

Quite what the punters at these gigs made of this I can’t imagine. Those expecting hundreds of notes per minute might have had a problem with this material. Listening to it now, I find it Read more

This is a record I’ve been coming back to often over the last few months, largely because it’s so free-flowing and exploratory. There is a lot of long, sorrowful sweeps here, but they’re not intense - they come and go Read more

Pianoscapes and smaller details   Tue., Feb 15, 2011

This is a wonderful-sounding recording of a performance from a very experimental period in soundscapes. With its sparser tones and a prominence of piano synth notes, it’s a rather stark, minimalist, but still wonderfully moody Read more

I have downloaded quite a few soundscapes and i think this one is quite lovely, sort of a quiet space inbetween the churchscapes, the darker soundscapes earlier in the 1990s and even a little of the guitar timbre of no Read more

… Wonderfully... Remarkably... Crimheads often delve in counterfactual history and muse about such topics as “What if the ’69 band stayed together and did another album?” or “What if Ian Mac rejoined the band after Red and Crim Read more
