These are the Stormy selections I do treasure - these intriguing insights into the recording or rehearsal process of the earliest line ups. I personally am one of those who doesn’t really like or "get" the Lizard album and I don’t think it showed what that line up was really capable of. These snapshots from the studio prove amply that Gordo and Andy were a good rhythm section and it’s nice to hear their playing "close up".

It therefore throws new light on a rather misunderstood line up of Crim in the same way that the DGM live releases of the Boz line up has enhanced the reputation of that band proving they were great and that Islands again, like Lizard, didn’t show what they were truly capable of.
