Written by MookieKeebler

I concur with wordsmith that "Music is our Friend" and "Pastorale: Mendoza" work well concurrently.  If you start them at the same time, "Music is our Friend" ends just a few moments before the beginning of the lovely solo near the end of "Pastorale: Mendoza".  If I my refine the suggestion slightly, thus far I find it more pleasing if I increase the volume of "Pastorale: Mendoza" by something between 3db and 5db, and decrease the volume of "Music is our Friend" by as much as 4db to 6db.  This does cause the voice, at some moments, to become somewhat submerged in the soundscape, but in a way that I find pleasing, and which enhances the merging of the two into one.  I will play with it some more, but suspect I will ultimately be pleased by a non-fixed volume ratio that varies over time, as may seem appropriate.  I certainly hope Mr. Fripp is not offended by our indulgence in such meddling with his work for our own enjoyment.
