Prince Rupert is Smiling March 22, 2012

You can tell Fripp’s just getting warmed up on this take. It still doesn’t have the full ferocity of the final master but still sheds light on the Beast yet to emerge. BTW, I’m with the rest - I still consider Lizard to be a watershed work of musicianship; to hear these snippets from this album makes me want to hear the whole session.

Wow. This may just be the perfect soundscapes - for me at least. The mood is definitely darker, but more importantly deeper, too. It unsettles (Queer Space), disturbs (Threnody and Foreboding), and soothes (Acceptance and Resolution) in a way that none Read more

murky subterranean rumblings define the ground of the beginning of this music, then muted trumpets and strings edge into the cloudy hovering aether as the emotive colour locates squarely on the reddish-hued bronze and the Read more

This is a very moving show, it hovers between impossible and unreachable situations in the future and the deep pain of life. Nevertheless a very grotesque and timeless soundscapeconcert! Thanks DGM.

RF bravely demonstrates this to his rhythm section who aren’t having one of their better days; and Mr. Andrews seems to be playing something different somwhere in his head.

I’m embarrassed to say that I just found this performance available on the DMG website. I immediately downloaded it. I was at this show and it was my first (of now many) live experiences with Read more

Very Interesting Mon., Nov 23, 2009

I thought that this was mainly an Adrian Belew composition. Mr Fripp is a great composer as a music writer, and I love the lightness of Exposure or Crimson pieces. Yes, KC is a band, but Robert is the main Read more
