This piece certainly makes my day. Lizard has always been my favourite Crimson album and I only wish Mr Fripp would be willing to issue a Lizard box with all the bits and takes that didn’t end up on the final product - like the Beach Boys did with Pet Sounds. I’m probably not the only one here who thinks those first four albums are the best. I’m inordinately fond of the subsequent Starless period, mind, but I consider Lizard a crowning achievement. Thank you, and keep them coming!

Glad that there’s a 2nd installment of Mr. Monday’s oddities.  I assumed there would be a #2, so I did not bother listening to a lot of them when 1st out, but now they are all here for Read more

Wow.  This may just be the perfect soundscapes - for me at least.  The mood is definitely darker, but more importantly deeper, too.  It unsettles (Queer Space), disturbs (Threnody and Foreboding), and soothes (Acceptance and Resolution) in a way that none Read more

murky subterranean rumblings define the ground of the beginning of this music, then muted trumpets and strings edge into the cloudy hovering aether as the emotive colour locates squarely on the reddish-hued bronze and the Read more

This is a very moving show, it hovers between impossible and unreachable situations in the future and the deep pain of life. Nevertheless a very grotesque and timeless soundscapeconcert! Thanks DGM.   Read more

Gimme a few more stars to throw on this one   Sat., Dec 5, 2009

Back around 1976 or ’77, as a 15-/16-year-old, I started listening to Crimson. Unfortunately Crimson had broken up a couple years earlier, and the various surviving “progressive rock” bands were stepping all over their dicks in their rush to Read more
