I just love these behind the scenes kinds of things that you would never be aware of in 1981 or whenever. Thank you for going through the trouble to post it.
I bet with record companies today, an artist doesnít do or bother with this kind of thing, Judgement has probably been passed before the artist shows up -- if you even get a chance to explain your "vision" :) to them. Sounded like the Discipline concept was lost on them, which is understandable.
I wonder if Sun Ra ever went into Delmark or Impulse and explained his ideas to them. :) "I...am..the alter destiny...the presence of the living myth.....". :)
"I donít hear a hit on the record."

I am one of the subset of Frippertronics fans that prefers the loops without the solos and respectfully submit that nothing is missing here. Amazing you-are-there sound with the Flac download.
