      extremely interesting February 2, 2010
Written by cube_monkey
I just love these behind the scenes kinds of things that you would never be aware of in 1981 or whenever. Thank you for going through the trouble to post it. I bet with record companies today, an artist doesn’t do or bother with this kind of thing, Judgement has probably been passed before the artist shows up -- if you even get a chance to explain your "vision" :) to them. Sounded like the Discipline concept was lost on them, which is understandable. I wonder if Sun Ra ever went into Delmark or Impulse and explained his ideas to them. :) "I...am..the alter destiny...the presence of the living myth.....". :) Response: "I don’t hear a hit on the record." hahahahahahahahahahaha Jay

The music of Fripp is rather known by me. His style is very abstract and does not make music. To my opinion, experimentation is the bridge between silence and music. I think in my humble opinion that Fripp is only sitting Read more

Arguably the best King Crimson show I've seen Thu., Jul 8, 2010

Went into this concert expecting adventure and bonhomie, and was utterly floored by the energy, good humor and go-for-broke spirit on offer. In terms of those qualities, and also with regard to the extensiveness and high quality of the improvisations, Read more

King Crimson rises with greater rage when under pressure and this gig is the perfect example of such situation.
Everybody was disgusted with some aspect or another and the tensions were spoiling the general happiness, but the most intriguing is the Read more
