      a Krautrock Crim! October 26, 2010
Written by Neumann
Maybe it’s the bongo drum sounds (samples?), or the Michael Karoli vibe in Adrian Belew’s guitar repetition, but I hear something resembling classic Can at work here...of course some of those more subversive early ’70s German bands were Thrakking long before the word entered the Crimson vernacular. In retrospect I wish the double-trio had played more music as informal and open as this: a definite gem from the vaults..!

The performance is great but Trey seems to be MIA in the mix. I’ve noticed this with other shows from this particular tour.
