The Asbury Park improv is my favorite piece of Crimusic. I’ve followed the remixing path from the original USA release > the Essential King Crimson box set > the reissue of USA.
I wish I had never heard this recording of the complete improv. To me, it ends perfectly and sublimely with that final BB snare roll, to have the extra four minutes of stop-start improv adds nothing and in fact, makes me
