Inspired by this track, I listened for Lizard once more time, and actually heard this piano track in the final mix. The sound is weakened several times, but is still recognizable (tune your ears to these "thrakking" chords and find it!)

Anyway, brilliant track.

Back around 1976 or ’77, as a 15-/16-year-old, I started listening to Crimson. Unfortunately Crimson had broken up a couple years earlier, and the various surviving “progressive rock” bands were stepping all over their dicks in their rush to Read more

Great show!  I have heard several audience tapes/bootlegs of this show and it has always been one of my favorite KC performances of 1973.  In general the recording sounds a little fast, much like the "Astral Navigation" Read more
