      Musical Haiku's October 19, 2008
Written by knet70
These three little pieces are like bright gems. The sound quality is amazing. You feel as though you are on the floor with the band. The tune up is the most sublime tune up I’ve ever heard, it shines. All three pieces play like musical Haiku’s, unpolished and in the moment. I can see why they are included here by DGM. Once again thanks for a brief look behind what is in my opinion a classic album by Robert Fripp.

Great karaoke version of "North Star", if only I was able to sing it...
You can also hum "She waits in the air, Matte Kudasai" over the first chord changes. :)

I tried another bit of "Xenochrony" with this one (A process I’ve now decided could be called ’Kcolliding’) - it works rather nicely if you superimpose it over "Pastorale: Mendoza".

These are really quite cool.
My personal favorite ’ambient-Fripp’ period is the Time Lag Accumulator
era, and this delivers, with beautiful after-the-fact solos thrown in to
suggest how some of the ’Let the Power Fall’ shows may have sounded in Read more
