Cute song, great to hear this line-up again. November 11, 2008
Written by Spradlinn
If nothing else, this song is a pleasant reminder of what a great line-up the Bruford/Levin rhythm section with KC was. So refreshing to hear those familiar styles and sounds behind Fripp and Belew, again. BB and KC playing on auto-pilot or even warming up are still more amazing than 97% of the bands out there. Thank you Stormy for presenting this song - wasn’t sure I’d ever hear anything from that line-up again. This made my day! Indeed, the best KC for me is one that contains Bill Bruford as it’s drummer. I know, I have to ’get over it’. Hey, it’s MHO only! As Pres. Barack says, We ALL matter now! Which is not to say that I won’t be scratching and clawing to get first in line at the next Gunn/Mastellotto/Belew/Fripp show! And Pat’s playing on XTC’s "Oranges and Lemons" far surpasses most of what I’ve heard him play with KC. He nearly single-handedly made that album one of my Top10 of all time! BUY IT if you’ve never heard it, KC fans!! If you’re a drummer, you have to dig it! Pat rocks!

This is a wonderful version of an often overlooked KC song. I think I may prefer this over the already excellent original version.
Thank you Mr Stormy!

Love this show. Missing here is the bit near the end which sounds like an overenthusiastic/ stroppy SDSU official cut the power and Ade telling the audience "We came here to play for you, and play we will" (I’m paraphrasing Read more

This is a lovely recording--I’d have given it 4.5 stars if I could have--and it’s wonderful to hear the synced solos. You don’t get the full effect of a Frippertronics performance with just the Read more

Monday Rendez-Vous Mon., Jun 13, 2011

Thank you very much for this little KC gem. This Monday rendez-vous is always a pleasure. As we mostly had 1969-1972 or post 1977 material so far, I hope this one is the beginning of a 1973-1974 Crimson Read more
