Musical Haiku's October 19, 2008
Written by knet70
These three little pieces are like bright gems. The sound quality is amazing. You feel as though you are on the floor with the band. The tune up is the most sublime tune up I’ve ever heard, it shines. All three pieces play like musical Haiku’s, unpolished and in the moment. I can see why they are included here by DGM. Once again thanks for a brief look behind what is in my opinion a classic album by Robert Fripp.

Oh bliss! Aural ecstacy!
I feel like a flippin’ kid in a frippin’ candy store.
Thank you ever so much Robert, and DGM Live staff.

What I have heard so far is absolutely breath taking.

Inspired by this track, I listened for Lizard once more time, and actually heard this piano track in the final mix. The sound is weakened several times, but is still recognizable (tune your ears to these "thrakking" chords and find Read more

This could easily have been part of the 1995 Thrak improvs or even some of the ConstruKction of Light 2000 improvs.

I was there for this show, at the Casino. I took a bus by myself from north Jersey. It was general admission, with no seating on the ground floor. Though at the front end of the line, I opted for Read more

Thanks for yet another fascinating glimpse from the old multitracks. Keith is in pretty fiery demonic form here!
