Another Stormy Selection Gem with Fab-Foot-Phil. March 30, 2009
Written by matthusela
This is another gem for us Exposure era completists. This one seems to have a bit different flavor to it which makes it a great addition to the nice little collection of Exposure outakes that Mr. Mundy has given us through his selections.
And Phil Collins- Here’s a guy who, if you rolled back the clock to 1976 or so, you would have sufficient respect for as a great drummer more than filling his role in a great prog rock band. If you only rolled the clock back to 1982 or so he would still be all of that AND a great songwriter, drum recording pioneer, jazz-fusion drummer with Brand X, and here, Fripp collaborator. No amount of subsequent mushy number one ballads can take away the history.

I’m a bass player, and I’ve studied a lot of Wetton (mostly his 73’ -78’ work) and I can tell you for sure that is Wetton’s bass playing on Disengage. There are a couple of distinctive things, such as the Read more
