      Correcting a memory February 27, 2010

I was at this show too (we were either the first or second on line to get in - waited for hours). Just want to make a correction to the previous post: I believe the opening act was the Climax Blues Band. And wasn’t Alison Steele ("the night bird" -Crimhead and nighttime dj at WNEW FM) acting as MC that night?
Golden Earring were indeed circulating at the time. I believe they opened for The Who at the Garden earlier that same month and maybe for Crimso at their "last" ever concert later that summer in Central Park.
