I saw LOG three times in the UK and my memories were a fun unit probing and exploring in a JazzPop format. This is the best recorded LOG I have yet and you can really hear that Jazz Chorus Roland Amp and Barry Andrews eviscerated organ, which he constantly tuned as he went. What surprises me is the amount of Improvisation in the Inductive Resonance versions, more or less a fixed format song, but with RF careening all over the scales with those wonderful arpeggios - they have a cheeky swagger that makes me laugh out loud. Excellent buy it! and people used to say Fripp was austere!

Too bad some of RF’s most inspired soloing was wasted over such a plodding, dull rhythm section.

Oh, Mr. Fripp! You are killin’ it during this set! Boy At Piano and Mr. Minor are superb. "Commentary" from surrounding audience members is very funny, but minimal - does not take away from the music, rather it Read more

LOG is the thinking man’s punk & dance band. Shame how short lived they were. The LP studio recording that I bought at release date did not show the band truly as the recording lacked dynamic range and Read more

I am delighted to have heard this - once. 5 stars for sharing it, but 2 stars (maybe 1) after that - rehearing it isn’t necessary. The League found their own repertoire, which I really enjoy, and this Read more

Amazing what this group could do just throwing stuff around. Way preferable over the blah-ness that passes for radio pap these days. As I said in my review of "...Goodies...", if only these bits had made it to record, who Read more
