Maybe itís the bongo drum sounds (samples?), or the Michael Karoli vibe in Adrian Belewís guitar repetition, but I hear something resembling classic Can at work here...of course some of those more subversive early í70s German bands were Thrakking long before the word entered the Crimson vernacular. In retrospect I wish the double-trio had played more music as informal and open as this: a definite gem from the vaults..!
