My first KC show. July 1, 2011
Written by bperkins
Front row balcony for this show was a real treat. My brother and I stopped on the way home at Tower records and bought LTIA. We each bought a copy even though we lived in the same house! We couldn’t stop talking about this show all the way home. I had been a KC fan since 1971, but this was the first chance to see them perform live. I was 13 then, and have been a lifelong fan ever since, attending every tour except the last one since they didn’t come out west. I should’ve stayed to hear the Eagles, I guess, but really couldn’t under the circumstances. Brian Perkins West Linn, Oregon

Not bad for a bootleg. Mr. Bruford comes through loud and clear throughout. Even the ’trons sound good on Easy Money and Exiles. Messrs. Fripp & Wetton still sound a bit muddled at times, though, but the points they make Read more

Awful? Yikes. That’s a bit harsh me thinks. Anything that I can get my hands on from this band is worth the price. I remember years ago starving for material from this era and now its all over Read more

Lovely snippet of late 73-74 Crim--Fripp is very playful on this show--Easy Money and Lament, in particular. Bruford is manic and always interesting (how many drummers to you actively tune into when listening to a rock group--many provide a backbeat Read more

can't beat any performance with this line up! Sun., Dec 16, 2007

For me, this was the finest incarnation of Crimson. I equate their performances with the finest live jazz (ie Miles, Coltrne, Evans, etc.) and you can’t go wrong with any of the fine DGM releases from this Read more
