I was at this performance - still have my ticket stub!  I also recorded part of this show on a microcassette player in my shirt pocket, but I was right up front and didn’t want to make a scene flipping the tape, so I only got about 30 minutes on my tape.  I am so glad this full recording is available, and the quality is quite good - well worth $10 - rather ironic since the ticket for the show was only $6.50.  It’s great to re-experience this performance 28 years later!  I had seen King Crimson at Toad’s the previous year, and it remains a highlight of many excellent shows I saw at this venue during the 1980s!

Good grief--just when I thought you couldn’t outdo the incredibly enticing Fripp/Wetton/Phil Collins segments posted a few months back, now you go and casually toss out something this historically meaningful. Would it be too much to say that this may be the very Read more

I have loved Frippertronics since listening to Let The Power Fall when I was seventeen. Later I acquired a used copy of the God Save The Queen LP record and treasure my digitized crackly audio files from Read more

Thanks again Robert for this gem from the vaults. Aside from the poor sound quality I can see why this did not make the cut on the album. It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to Let the Power Read more
