Ooh la la! November 15, 2007
Written by KC_1980s
Worth ten bucks for Adrian’s introduction to Neal and Jack and Me -- which is great, and plays off the audience member who shouts "ooh la la" once Ade mentions Paris. But he does the introduction for the wrong song! The band quickly recovers, and someone shouts "KING CRIMSON IS MAKING HISTORY!" as the brand-new song begins. The three not-yet-Beat songs are unique versions, especially Tangier. Worth listening just for them. If this is from an audience bootleg, it sure sounds good. You can hear the wonderful interplay with the audience. But they don’t talk over the songs. I guess after being bludgeoned by Thela and Red back to back, they were pretty docile. So the quality of the recording is outstanding. The show has really rocking versions of the Discipline songs.
