Superb sax solo by Mister Mel Collins. Another Mr. Stormyís gem. What more can I say ? Beautiful. Amazing. Btw, did you notice that the KC line-up as presented on the page features all the 4 band members, although they donít appear on the tape, and no Mel Collins ? Thanks for all these great Monday gifts. Cheers.

This song is played blisteringly as always from this lineup. Its an odd one though because the vocals, horns and Fripp almost sound like a continuation from the early 70s overdubbed on a current modern rhythm section of the drummers Read more

The drums suffer the most sonically on these desk tapes but this piece is very tuneful so it works nicely. Sort of a Max Roach doing overdubs of himself but not in a jazz context Read more

King Crimson doing a reimagined version of an earlier piece of music can be a wonderful thing. Someone doing a remix of a standing piece of music is like doing a remake of a classic Read more

Definitely one of the best reinterpretations by this lineup. The arrangement just goes into turbo for the last few minutes.. sax and drums just pushing it over the edge. Interesting hearing a "flatter" sounding board recording rather than the mix on Read more
