Great performance from a band that sounds like Crim December 3, 2007
Written by dubhthaigh
.. not as bad a recording as the Jacksonville Collectors Club #2 (I think) release, but almost. I am certain that it really is Crim because the performance is absolutely incendiary and exhilarating. For all those lamenting the passing of vinyl and tape, here is the good riddance. More’s the pity that there isn’t a soundboard document of this remarkable performance. Until such a document arrives, this will have to do. Given the remarkable talents of the remastering team at DGM Live, I shudder to think what the original tape must have sounded like. However, if you listen closely enough, you can hear the girl two seats down from the taper giving him her phone number. Smooth, dude. And captured for posterity.

I concure that the pitch is off on this download although I think I know where the mistake was made. If you compare the pitch of the opening percusion of "Waiting Man" to other recordings of the same song the pitch matches up fine, but if you go further than this you will find that the pitch does not match up at all on the rest of the tunes, about a half step off as the previous poster noticed . Since I was at the show I was really looking foreward to purchasing this, is there a chance this can get "fixed" ? Cheers, Bill Cormier
Good - but pitch correction needed? November 24, 2007

This recording sounds like it’s nearly a full half-pitch lower than the Convention Hall gig from the night before (and seems so from my guitar as well) - which means that at correct pitch they must have really been charging along full tilt!
