Just purchased this lovely little sucker today and cannot get enough of it. Crimson are in super-fine form at this Kokusai Hall show. The playing is extremely tight, with a very special aura of magic encircling the songs/players. Sometimes all the stars are in the right spot, and this evening must have had that magic. Of very special delight is "The Sheltering Sky", "Manhattan", "Lark’s Tongue Pt II, and "Discipline". The whole show is an extra special treat, as the playing on this gig is most transcendental. I saw this Crim at The Roxy in LA on Nov.23rd & 24th, as well as at Perkins Palace on Nov.25th 1981. This was a band that was so good, that words will always fail to convey the power of this group. Thank you again DGM and Robert for releasing another fine show! I have many of them, and always look forward to new ones! By the way, the Dec.16th,1977 "Exposure" CD is so amazing that it blows me away completely. This was form of KC moving into galaxies way beyond "Red". One word: "Breathless".
